Developing the innovators of the future
EMILI, Actua and Ag in the Classroom have partnered with Protein Industries Canada to deliver programming to youth in K-12 that focuses on STEM, in-demand skills, and promotion of future career opportunities in digital agriculture, plant protein and the agri-food industry.
The project addressed the industry’s growing need for a skilled workforce with a focus on engaging students from non-traditional backgrounds in STEM and digital agriculture.
Engaging youth in digital agriculture
Since the Explore project launched in 2021, we have engaged close to 58,000 youth, including more than 11,000 Indigenous youth. This surpasses the targets we set when we launched this program with Actua and Agriculture in the Classroom. Follow #ExploreDigitalAg on social media to learn more.
