What we are working on
The continued success of Canadian agriculture relies on its ability to focus on adopting technology, attracting a skilled and diverse labour force, and embracing sustainability, all of which supports profitability on the farm. The Enterprise Machine Intelligence and Learning Initiative (EMILI) is proud of the work we do to support this success.

Collaborations at Innovation Farms
EMILI is collaborating with innovators to test and validate new technologies, demonstrate the productivity and sustainability of commercialized technologies, and accelerate the adoption of digital tools.
Canadian Agri-food Data Initiative
Through technology demonstrations, applied research, and data literacy training programs, we aim to build the capacity of the Canadian agriculture and food sector to make use of data and digital tools in a responsible way.
Emergence Initiative Grant
We are committed to supporting start-ups and connecting agri-food entrepreneurs with resources, connections, and financial support to expand digital agriculture and attract new business to Manitoba.
Insights derived from this data will increase crop yields, expedite crop breeding and optimize input application and other agricultural practices to promote machine learning and grow the digital agriculture industry in Manitoba.
Collaborate with us
Working together, we can increase integration of intelligent technologies, empower people with digital skills, support scale-ups to grow in the prairies, and accelerate Manitoba's growth as a leader in digital agriculture.
