Working collaboratively to increase engagement in digital agriculture careers

As part of the Manitoba Digital Agriculture Table, EMILI leads a series of working groups focused on specific actions in response to the priorities identified in this strategic roadmap document. Each working group includes representatives from industry, academia, and non-profit organizations who work collaboratively to advance digital agriculture and strengthen the ecosystem across Manitoba. 

The goals of this working group are:

• Digital agriculture careers are known and can be identified by those in the workforce and by students who are introduced to the career pathway.
• Identify and reduce barriers for Industry and academia to engage in work-integrated learning and job experiences.
• Increase opportunities for training in areas of Industry-identified skills and talent gaps.
