“We have amazing companies, small, medium, and large, here in the prairies and across Canada doing incredible work in digital ag, and we also have world leading researchers at our academic institutions, colleges, and universities,” she said. “How do we get those folks chatting to each other a little bit more, knowing who’s in whose backyard to collaborate with, and drive some of that collaboration? It’s really about supporting new companies as they grow and making sure that they have what they need in terms of access to capital, resources, mentors to keep growing and scaling. Our work is to really see how those technologies perform in a commercial setting at commercial speeds within that full scale environment.”
