Manitoba’s Enterprise Machine Intelligence Learning Initiative (EMILI) is 10 years old, and it marked the occasion with new funding from the Canadian government.
The federal government just announced a $3.5-million investment, meant to help more companies test and evaluate ag-tech at EMILI’s Innovation Farms.
WHY IT MATTERS: New funding will mean more agricultural technologies can be tested under commercial Prairie conditions before farmers are asked to adopt them.
