EMILI is featured in the precision from above section of Manitoba Farmers Voice.

More drone-based work is underway at EMILI’s Innovation Farms in Manitoba, where trials include three drones: one for vegetation mapping, another for scouting and, in collaboration with Corteva Agriscience, one for crop spraying.

“At EMILI’s Innovation Farms, we use drones for crop scouting to collect data around plant health that a producer would otherwise need to do on foot in the field,” said Leanne Koroscil, Innovation Farms Manager. “This data helps inform on-farm decision-making.”
