Free course provides insight into data and digital technology

EMILI developed the Fundamentals of Farm Data program to equip farmers and others along the value chain with foundational knowledge and data governance skills related to agriculture data.

Our data literacy program aims to put growers and others across the agri-food value chain in positions to ask the right questions as they make investments in digital agriculture technology. Activities and worksheets provide practical, useful content. Accessing the program is free and does not require sign-up. Four modules are currently available:

đŸ§‘â€đŸ’»ïž Module 1: Data 101

🚜 Module 2: Data in Agriculture

đŸ’» Module 3: Working with Your Data

🔐 Module 6: Cybersecurity

Whether you’re an agriculture association, post-secondary institute, or another organization working in agriculture, please email us if you’re interested in having a live delivery of this training.

A live delivery of training is incredibly valuable, both in-person and via webinar. It allows for customized content, and gives participants a chance to ask real-time questions while engaging with their peers. We can work with you to develop an in-person event or or online webinar. We look forward to hearing from you!
