On February 11, 2025, EMILI celebrated Canada’s Agriculture Day by hosting the first stop of the 2025 Crop Intelligence Annual Summit. Approximately 30-40 people gathered in EMILI’s Innovation Farms Centre for the full day event.
Crop Intelligence is an app that collects and interprets soil moisture to model water driven yield potential in dryland farming. Their annual summit brings together a diverse group of growers, agronomists, and industry professionals to discuss how technology and data can support informed decisions to optimize crop water use.

Hosting events like this is one of the ways that EMILI works collaboratively to accelerate digital agriculture on Innovation Farms, sharing insights to optimize decision-making, increase skills and knowledge, and expand the development and adoption of ag tech tools for economic and environmental sustainability across the Prairies.
Innovation Farms powered by AgExpert was the first stop in the 2025 Crop Intelligence Summit which will be held in Lethbridge, Alberta on February 25, 2025 and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on March 4, 2025.
