About the technology
AgExpert Field and Accounting software is built to help record-keepers at every stage save time, stay organized, and manage their farm data with confidence. AgExpert is the first software in Canada to be Ag Data Transparent certified.
Sustainability regional benchmarking model
GROSSE ISLE (2026)
EMILI will be collecting plant tissue from three crop types throughout the growing season, and soil samples at two time points. This information, along with agronomic practices and historical farm data, will help to form a picture of biological activity and soil health to create a framework that can lead to improved decision-making, optimized nutrient investment, and enhanced grain quality.
This technology is being evaluated on EMILI’s Innovation Farms and across the AIVA Network’s Validation Hubs, providing a national lens on how the technology works across Canada’s diverse agricultural regions.
Sustainability model
GROSSE ISLE (2023-2025)
EMILI recorded farm activity in AgExpert Field throughout the season to analyze outputs that estimate on-farm sustainability, including carbon sequestration, carbon dioxide emissions, and nitrous oxide emissions. The AgExpert Field sustainability model’s footprint assessment provided insights that EMILI could share with collaborators to drive sustainability. The model was developed to allow customers to grow their on-farm sustainability knowledge.
Interoperability with John Deere Operations Centre
GROSSE ISLE (2023-2025)
EMILI imported years of operation data from John Deere Operations Center into AgExpert Field to gain insights into how the technologies work together to optimize farm management practices.
