BioScout provides near real-time airborne spore monitoring to enable precision fungicide management in crops. BioScout’s automated spore traps sample the air daily, identify and quantify a range of disease-causing spores, and present the information on a dashboard.

EMILI will install BioScout’s spore detection devices in a potato field to test and validate its ability to monitor for key diseases like early blight and late blight. This early detection would allow the producer to manage disease more quickly and effectively to reduce damage to the crop.
