Real-time monitoring of grain harvest
The Elmer’s Manufacturing HIVE Motherbin is a portable grain storage solution designed to streamline harvest logistics and optimize grain collection and distribution. Integrated with the HIVE CONNECT app, it delivers real-time data on grain weights, GPS, and load status, empowering farmers to make informed decisions on the go. Only two prototypes are currently available in North America, with one being tested at Innovation Farms.
Fertilizer storage, a secondary use case
In the spring of 2025, EMILI validate the usefulness of the HIVE Motherbin 5500 for fertilizer storage at a site in Gypsumville where there is limited permanent storage. Providing an additional use case for this machinery could lead to greater adoption by farmers if it is able to be used for mulitple operations on the
farm.
