The John Deere HarvestLab™ 3000 allows for continuous monitoring of harvest quantity and quality in real time. In John Deere’s Operations Center platform, a farmer can view yield, moisture, oil, protein, and starch maps from the HarvestLab™ 3000. These insights support better nutrient management, help with variety selection, and facilitate storage decisions and marketing of the crop.

EMILI will explore the value of adopting the John Deere HarvestLab™ 3000 in an area of a field that historically has low protein/low yield. EMILI will examine in-season variables that may be influencing this, such as environmental conditions, and the timing and application of fertilizer.
