Growers and businesses along the agri-food value chain want their software and digital tools to work seamlessly together.
Standards and interoperability are critical to achieving this vision. At the same time, it is not easy to understand what standards are in use today and the strategy that technology providers are pursuing to deliver a higher degree of interoperability in the future.
EMILI has completed a series of interviews with key stakeholders across the digital agriculture ecosystem to gather their views on the state interoperability in the Canadian agri-food sector. The Data Initiative team will publish a report soon that provides an overview of what we heard in our stakeholder interviews and background research.
