About the technology
The Elmer’s Manufacturing HaulMaster is a grain cart which comes in a variety of sizes including 2300-bushel and 2500-bushel capacity. It is designed to reduce combine idle time, minimize travel across fields, minimize soil compaction, and maximize harvest windows.
Moisture sensor

EMILI is testing the HaulMaster Grain Cart moisture sensor in a variety of crop types on Innovation Farms. The grain cart moisture sensor readings will be compared to farm yard moisture tests to ensure accurate recordings.
Efficiency
GROSSE ISLE (2025-2026)
The HaulMaster Grain Cart will be used throughout harvest to evaluate the effects of different size grain carts on harvest efficiency. The downtime for the HaulMaster 2300 and 2500 configurations will be recorded in different harvest scenarios to understand how using a large grain cart increases harvest efficiency.
