Expanding skills and knowledge

Digital agriculture is growing and evolving so rapidly, and is such a diverse sector, that almost anyone can find a career that suits their skills and interests. The future of this industry will require participation across the sector to increase education and experiential learning opportunities to develop competencies around technology, employee readiness, and human skills.

At EMILI, our work looks to address key skills and labour gaps felt by the agriculture and agri-food sector. We engage with diverse stakeholders and technologies to create opportunities for people to obtain the skills they need to thrive in a digital agriculture career. In collaboration with our partners, we help people – both who work in agriculture and come from non-agriculture backgrounds – gain hands-on experiences and exposure to a wide variety of career opportunities in digital agriculture.
